🌿 Energy Tea Recipe

Make this easy energy tea with fresh ginger, lemon, mint, and honey. Perfect for hikes, outdoor days, or warming up on cool mornings.

Ingredients:

  • 8–10 coins of fresh ginger (thinly sliced)
  • 1 lemon, cut in half: juice it, then toss the spent peels into the thermos
  • 3–4 full sprigs of fresh mint
  • Honey, to taste (I like a lot!)
  • Boiling water
Instructions:
  1. Add the ginger slices, lemon juice, spent lemon peels, and mint sprigs into a tall thermos.
  1. Pour in boiling water until full.
  1. Add honey to taste — stir or swirl to combine.
  1. Let steep for a few minutes. Taste and adjust honey or lemon as needed.
Take it with you on a restorative hike with the kids, a cold-weather baseball game, or sip it by a window when you want something warm, bright, and a little grounding. 🍋🍯🌲
